What to Bring to Camp
Camp Items: Bible, notebook, pencils, flashlight, camera, envelopes with stamps.
Bedding: pillow, sleeping bag or sheets and blanket.
Personal items: washcloth, towel, soap, toothbrush & paste, brush, pajamas, bug spray, sunscreen, etc.
Money: for canteen ($12 recommended) and missionary offering if desired.
Modest clothing: shorts, shirts, jeans, jacket, shoes (more than one pair). Bring clothes for recreation, water games, and modest one-piece or tankini (must cover the midriff) swimwear for swimming. Shirts need to be long enough to cover belt line, no spaghetti string tank tops.
Medications (in zip lock bag and labeled).
Please do not bring: Cellphones, iPods, iPads, Apple watches, tablets, electronic games or anything that can connect to the internet, pop, snacks, or valuables.
Location and Directions
Solid Rock Bible Camp will be held at Camp Aldrich near Claflin, KS. It is located 4 miles southwest of Claflin on HWY 156 and 1.5 miles north, or 10 miles northeast of Great Bend on HWY 156, and 1.5 miles north.
Camp Dates for 2024
July 22-26 for completed grades 3-6
July 29-Aug 2 for completed grades 5-8
The cost of camp is $160 for each week of camp. $170 after July 15th.
Things You Need to Know
1. Camp registration will be on July 24th and July 31st from 2 - 3 PM.
2. Camp will end at 2 pm on July 28th and Aug 4th.
3. Campers are encourage to write and they love getting mail. Please do not send candy of snacks. Letters can be sent to;
